This describes how Rakthae actually handles data today, pending review by a licensed attorney. Rakthae is operated by 9566-4819 Québec inc. Contact: info@rakthae.com.
Data we collect
Your phone number (for OTP sign-in, no password), profile info you choose to enter, and messages you send. We deliberately do not have fields for several categories of personal detail — see the Terms of Use for the full list we exclude.
Age verification, in detail
A live capture and, if needed, an ID photo are sent to a third-party verification vendor. We keep only four pass/fail results — age_over_18, liveness_pass, face_match_pass, document_pass — and never store the raw image, document scan, or date of birth. We never ask the vendor to determine or report gender.
Translation
Messages between members without a shared language are sent to Anthropic (a third-party AI provider) to generate a translation. Both original and translated text are kept so either side can review or correct it. We do not use your messages to train our own systems.
Who we share data with
Age-assurance vendors, Anthropic (translation), our infrastructure partners, and staff/moderators reviewing reports. We never share your legal name, date of birth, or ID images with other members — those are either never collected or never shown. We do not sell your data.
Your rights and choices
Review and edit most profile information in the app. Request a copy of your data or account deletion by contacting us. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights, e.g. under Thailand's PDPA or GDPR.
